36th st Lounge October 21st
This is looking to be a great night of music. We are sharing the stage with Delilah Dewylde and the lost boys. Hannah Graves is the opening band. This is our last scheduled show before we go into the studio in January. Try and come out to support local music. Start to keep an eye out for our Kickstarter project which will be coming soon. Looking forward to seeing you all there on the 21st!!!

We are super excited to be playing at the New Holland Brewery this Saturday! We hope to see some familiar faces and to make some new friends.
Roosevelt Diggs would like to thank Sierra Emery for her photos.
Look for them on our photos page. She took them at our Wealthy Theater show. We have been working hard on our new songs as well as old. If you missed us in Reed City try and make it out to one of the next few shows and give them a listen. And while you are there remember to pick up some merchandise :-) Hope to see you soon We couldn't be more excited about our show tonight! Our Intersection debut as well as the honor of opening for a great band like Greensky Bluegrass. Looking forward to an exciting show tonight!!
LRD It was a great experience for us to go into the studio the other day to do a live, on-air set on WYCE 88.1. The environment was light and lo-fi which is right up our alley and true to form to what Roosevelt Diggs is all about. We have not yet heard the radio performance ourselves, but we have heard good feedback from all our great supporting friends who stayed up late on a Sunday night to tune in. The crude videos that were taken while we performed are posted up on the internets on youtube. We will post up the vidoes here on our site soon. The show this Friday should be a good one. After about 2 months together with a drummer has made a great impact on the music and we see good things coming from that. We are crazy excited about Friday and are looking forward to seeing good friends at the DAAC and hope to make some new ones. Here is a self taken photo of us just after our set.
We had a great time and a really fun set last week at the Blue Star Harvest Festival! Playing with a drummer put a fun twist on the music. We will do it again some day. Once again, we had a lot of great friends and family travel long distances to support us. We can't thank you enough!
It will probably be a few months before we play a live set again. We are setting our primary focus on the our American Folklore Album. We recently purchased a digital recorder and we will be learning the ins and outs of using it. Constructing / Breaking down / Reconstructing / rinse and repeat. It's a new avenue of music for us. Much different than having a group of songs to jam on and play shows. We will be pushing ourselves and trying to look out of the box and away from comfort zones on musical arrangements and song structures to find what best sutes each tune. Once arrangements and song stuctures are solidified, it is all together possible to have other guest musicians involved with the recordings as well. We had a ton of great shows in the past few months and we will dig through them and post up some new videos and songs on the website soon! Logan We are happy to once again be a part of the Blue Star Harvest Festival on September 25th. We played in the festival last year and had a blast. Looks like a great line-up so far. We will be mixing it up for the show and playing with a purcussionist/drummer. We jammed last night with our good friend Jarod Beil. It had been quite some time since any of us have played with a drummer. It was weird and fun and loud. Jarod is a talented musician and will be fun to spend the next month creating music with him. It will make for a pretty fun show for us... and probably the heaviest rocking Roosevelt Diggs show yet!
LRD We had a blast on Saturday playing with The Rowley Wheeler Band @ the Blue Note. They are great musicians and great guys - we hope to share some shows with them again soon. Thanks once again to our great friends who made the trip to watch the show. We are pumped about the GR Festival of the Arts this Friday! Hopefully the weather is good and there is a large festival turnout. LRD
The shows have been few and far between for us for the past few months. We wanted to take some time to write new songs and tighten up the chops. The warm weather is upon us and we are scheduling away for what we hope is a busy summer of music making. In the next 4 weeks, we have 5 shows - all of which we are very excited about! It's almost like a mini West Michigan tour for us. We hope to see and meet lots of friends in the next few weeks and upcoming months. Check out your calender and pencil in some Roosevelt Diggs.. See you soon! - LRD
Thanks to everyone who came out to the VFW hall in Reed City on March 13. It's always fun to play for friends and family who might not venture south to see us. Thanks again. Speaking for myself, that was the most fun I have had in a long time. It makes me want to play some more shows right away. -LJD
